Membership of SALSC Working Groups

You will recall that when I wrote to you advising of arrangements for the last Annual General Meeting of the Association I invited the submission of nominations for the appointment of members of the various Working Groups of the new Board who will be responsible for the following areas of work:-

• Resources Group

  • Chairman - David Little

  • Vice Chairman - Kenny Murray

• Members’ Services Group

  • Chairman - Ian Lynchahon

  • Vice Chairman - Margaret Paterson

• Sports & Events Group

  • Chairman - Ron Sim

  • Vice Chairman - Sarah Nisbet

• International Group

  • Chairman - Millar Stoddart

  • Vice Chairman - George Morton

These appointments have now been confirmed but we still have vacancies for members of the 4 Groups and the Board have agreed that member Councils should be given a further opportunity to nominate representatives for these important posts and I shall be pleased if you could give this matter your consideration.

The Board are at this time looking into the possibility of meetings being taken by way of video-conferencing.

I look forward to receiving nominations together with a short cv of the nominee at your earliest convenience.
