SALSC NATIONAL SEMINAR 2008

SALSC is pleased to advise you that the Executive Committee have agreed to revert to the format of the original SALSC National Seminars by organising the 2008 event primarily on a Saturday and Sunday with an optional programme for the Friday afternoon and evening.

The Committee felt that given the financial situation, member sports councils would like to have the option of attending the National Seminar on the Saturday or Sunday when the main Plenary and workshops Sessions will be held or adding on the Friday evening which could assist with travelling arrangements, if appropriate, and when arrangements would be made for "networking" and informal discussions could take place.

The National Seminar therefore will take place at the beautiful Airth Castle Hotel, Airth, near Falkirk, which has first class road communications adjacent Motorways, from Friday 1st February until 3pm on Sunday 3rd February. The formal opening of the Seminar will take place at 10.30am on Saturday 2nd February and our AGM will take place after lunch on Sunday 3rd February, 2008.

The Programme for the National Seminar is in course of development but if your Council would wish to see a particular topic included please let the SALSC Administrator know.

The Cost Plan for the Seminar is as follows:

1. Full Package
   • Friday evening through to Sunday lunch
   • Including meals and accommodation
   • £185 pp twin sharing and £225 single
2. Semi Package
   • Saturday am to Sunday lunch
   • Including meals and accommodation
   • £136 pp twin sharing and £176 single
3. Day Delegate
   • Saturday and Sunday
   • Including lunch and coffees
   • £35
4. Extra Dinner Tickets
   • Friday and Saturday
   • £26 each evening
5. Standard Registration Fees
   1. SALSC Members £30 per person
   2. Non SALSC Members £35 per person
   3. Students Free
