JUNIOR BOWLS

SALSC JUNIOR BOWLS 2007

at Dunoon Argyll Bowling Club
on Wednesday 1st August

Report and Results

Eight teams took part in the competition:-

Cowal Sports Council
Sport Moray
Aberdeenshire Sports Council
North Ayrshire Sports Council
East Kilbride Sports Council
Hamilton Sports Council
Wigtownshire Sports Council
Sport Inverclyde

The day started very wet, with a lot of midges about, but soon warmed up and with seven games to play each team was fully occupied all day. Each game was of 6 ends or 45 minutes duration, and the bowling was terrific - the teams played three games before lunch and four after lunch.

The eventual winners were

1st	Wigtownshire Sports Council
2nd	Sport Moray
3rd	North Ayrshire Sports Council
4th	Aberdeenshire Sports Council
