Management Board
The Management Board agrees many of the fundamental
policy decisions that underpin SALSC’s operations and
While the interest groups carry out much of the day to
day business of SALSC it is the Management Board that oversees their
work remit and ensures that SALSC is not only delivering a quality
service to its members but is working with the right partners, securing
appropriate funding and heading in the right direction for the years to
come.
The Management Board consists of a Chair, Vice Chair,
Hon Treasurer, all the Interest Group Chairs (or Vice Chairs in their
absence), the previous Chair and up to 3 additional Board Members – all
of whom are volunteers selected from within the membership. The Board,
supported by SALSC’s Administrator and Policy Director and a
sportscotland partnership manager, meets on average every 2 months at
different locations across Scotland.
