"It's not necessarily the amount of time you spend at practice that counts; it's what you put into the practice."
SALSC is continually working to provide the best possible support to our member local sports councils but sometimes the support required can be very specific or require specialist training. For this reason, we are continually building partnerships with agencies and businesses to provide our members with the support and advice they require, at the best possible rates (where applicable). Below is a list of our partners who offer, through interaction with SALSC, specialised support:
Safeguarding in Sport is a partnership between CHILDREN 1ST and sportscotland. We believe that all children and young people have the right to be protected from abuse and harm. We support sporting organisations to keep children and young people safe. We provide advice, resources, training and consultancy.*
As Scotland's Centre for Excellence in volunteering, Volunteer Scotland leads the way in informing and modernising approaches to volunteering policy, enhancing practice and improving the quality of the volunteering experience for the people of Scotland.*
