Last Friday, the Scottish Government launched the 2014 Commonwealth Games Legacy Consultation. This is your chance to have your say on how the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow can maximise the opportunities to volunteer and recognise skills. The consultation is open until Friday 9th May.

Date for your Diary - 13th March 2008- Members Networking Event

We are holding a Members Networking Event on Thursday 13th March, 1.30- 3.00pm, at the VDS offices in Stirling. The event will provide an opportunity for interested members to meet and listen to some members of the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG) and increase understanding and awareness of volunteering possibilities for their organisations and for Scotland. The event is free to members and registration will start on Friday. Look out for the link to registration in my next email at the end of this week.
