Persimmon has 29 regional businesses in England, Wales and Scotland and a head office in York - 30 businesses in total. Every month from May 2017 to December 2017 all 30 business will donate up to £750 each to clubs, schools, organisations, charities and individuals who deliver sport to young people aged 18 and under.
Our main objective is for people to use the £750 to purchase sports kits and we would be delighted if you would put our logo on the kit! However, it may be that you don’t need kit and therefore we will consider other entries if you would like to purchase equipment or spend the money on your facilities.
As part of your entry (but not essential) you may also enter to win our fantastic grand prize - £200,000 to spend on your sport, club or team.
If you are entering the grand prize you will need to tell us in as much detail as possible what you would spend the £200,000 on. Perhaps you want to update your clubhouse or buy new equipment for your training facilities? Alternatively it may be that you will use the cash to fund new coaches or progress your team’s performance. We will consider all entries.
In January 2018 our 30 businesses will choose three entries to go forward for the national prize. These three entries do not need to have won a monthly award.
In February 2018 our independent panel will choose one entry from the three to represent each of our 30 businesses.
The 30 entrants will then go head to head in a national online vote to see who will win the top prize. The online vote closes on April 7 2018. The entrant with the most votes wins.
All 30 entrants will be invited to our gala dinner at York Racecourse on 17 April 2018 where the winners will be announced.
