SALSC COMMITTEES

Youth Committee

Unlike the interest groups and reflecting its members the Youth Committee has a less formal structure and work remit. Simply put, the Youth Committee is responsible for appealing to younger generations to try and inspire the next generation of SALSC members.

While the interest groups deal with the substance of what is delivered, the Youth Committee have a key job in trying to advise and communicate SALSC in new and innovative ways, keeping SALSC in touch with the latest trends in communications to appeal to Scotland’s youth and modernise and rejuvenate SALSC’s membership and image.

The Youth Committee is made up of youth members from within the SALSC membership and meets a minimum of 3 times a year. As per all interest groups the committee is supported by the services of SALSC’s Administrator and Policy Director.
